PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
Tour Tub reserves the right to take photos while on tour. If you prefer photos of yourself and your family not to be used by Tour Tub of your tour. You are welcome to send your photos to Tour Tub. Please be advised these may be used for social media posts or promotional material, but we do not pay for their use. 

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
If you have a complaint during your tour, please advise your guide immediately so Tour Tub can try to rectify the problem. BOOKING POLICY
To confirm your booking on our tours, 100% must be paid at the time of reservation. Payments can be made by phone or on our online booking portal. A 30% deposit must be paid at the time of reservation to confirm your private charter or group booking. An invoice with our bank details attached for a direct transfer will be sent. The remaining 70% must be paid at least 30 days prior to your tour departure date.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation fees are 10% charge outside 14 days, 25% charge from 14-8 days, 50% charge from 7-4 days, and 100% charge within 72 hours of departure.

TRAVEL INSURANCE (THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IN THE EVENT OF ILLNESS OR INJURY)
You are responsible for organising your own comprehensive travel insurance prior to travelling Tour Tub. Tour Tub advises that activities on tours involve risks. By agreeing to participate in the tour, you are releasing Tour Tub and its contractors from any liability for claims extending to, but not limited to, losses, damages or expenses caused by anything but not limited to personal injury, death, accident, emotional or nervous disorder, delay, property loss or damage which occurs during any such activity.

In order to use our website, we may require information from you to help us provide the best service and tour possible and a high level of customer service. All correspondence may be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support, and accounts, including email. Information is collected via correspondence with you or your company. This may be via telephone, email, mail, fax, or directly through our website in order to provide service references and to assist in our staff development. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When credit card details are collected, we pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete credit card details. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us both during transmission and once we receive it. Pandanus 5 Pty Ltd for Tour Tub (the Company) accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal articles. The Company will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained by clients due to actions beyond our control. Subject to road and weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, and mechanical failure, the Company reserves the right to alter itineraries or cancel departures. The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour if the group numbers are not sufficient. In such cases, full refunds will be given. Any costs incurred by a client as a result of a delay or cancellation, including failure to make connections with any other service, are the responsibility of the passenger. We strongly recommend that all passengers have their own travel insurance to cover losses.

FAQs

IF I BOOK A TOUR, DO I HAVE TO PAY STRAIGHT AWAY WITH MY CREDIT CARD?
We require a credit card to secure all bookings; however, if requested when making the booking, you can choose to pay cash on the day of travel.

IS THERE A SURCHARGE ON CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS?
All credit card payments will incur a 2% credit card surcharge.

CAN YOU PICK ME UP FROM MY HOTEL OR CARAVAN PARK?
We pick up from all hotels in Darwin City, Parap and Cullen Bay. If you are not staying in a hotel, please contact us directly to arrange pickup. If you are staying at a caravan park, please contact us directly.

CAN I BRING LUGGAGE ON BOARD THE BUS?
We have minimal storage space on our buses, so only a small bag is permitted. Your hotel reception should be able to store your luggage for you.

IS THERE A LOT OF WALKING ON YOUR TOURS?
Our city tour shuttles between each attraction, so the only walking is around the attractions themselves. On a Litchfield day tour, the carparks are all relatively close to the waterfalls, so there aren’t great distances of walking, although there can be uneven terrain in some parts. We are able to take many people with restricted mobility. Please inform us of any special needs at the time of booking.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please bring a water bottle that you can refill with cold water on the bus, a hat, sunscreen, a camera, and comfortable shoes. If you would like to swim on the Litchfield tour, please bring bathers and a towel.

DO YOU OPERATE IN THE WET SEASON?

We operate tours all year and will only cancel tours due to cyclones or floods. Swimming at Litchfield National Park is usually open all year. We will provide you with updated information at that time.

ARE THE GUIDES LOCAL?
We pride ourselves in hiring the best guides to showcase the Top End. They may or may not be born and bred here, but they are all local; the NT is now their home, and it’s in their blood. They have immense knowledge of Darwin and the Top End environment, including its history, culture and environs. We have a colourful history. The magnificent flora and fauna opportunities change each day.
